eyesurgeon sold at traffic for $14,500 and it has a higher ovt and more G results so I'm estimating 10K-15K wholesale and ??,??? to an enduser. Though most heart surgeons would be happy with nameoftheirpractice.com
I actually think its more around low to mid $$$$ reseller, how much a procedure costs is not an indication of how much a domain name should be. Otherwise offshoreoilplatforms.com should be a million $$ domain,...Most heart surgeons do not have a private practice anyway, so I think 3-5k reseller and maybe high x.xxx would be a great sale..

I have a strong opinion on this matter because my ambition is to become a heart surgeon, and when I do believe me I'd do anything to get my hands on that domain.
You may say, yeah but you're a domainer and you understand the value. In reply I can only say that even though a few understand the value of domain names today, it's only because of their negligence. As the years go by things will change. Because of the globalization and the ever growing internet infiltration the new generation of businesses will realize the importance of having a descriptive domain name, the significance of establishing an online identity.
While today's doctors are not a computer savvy population (in comparison to other professions) this will not be the case with the next generations.
I strongly suggest that you hold on to the domain name for 5 or more years, if you don't need the money badly, unless you get contacted by a doctor who wants to buy it and is willing to pay a respectable amount of money for i.

Heart surgeons have so much malpractice insurance, a lot of them are leaving private practice and joining large medical groups. It's a dicey environment to find a well-heeled doc who would rather drop cash on a domain than a golf excursion at Pebble Beach. Also, most people find heart surgeons by medical referral, or by a trip to the ER, all within a local or nearby community, so it would be best for a (rare) practice that is starting a national push. Further, heart surgeons have had a lot of trouble lately because medicated stents have flunked the six month test. I think the advice to wait until the climate changes may be a good one. Hopefully you'll get lucky in the meantime and find a doc, or med group who gets it.

$25k - vanity - it will sell in the USA. It won't sell to a UK end user IMHO. Medicine is more commercial in the USA. Doctors in the UK don't do too much vanity as it's regarded as beneath their calling. Sell it to someone in LA with a sharp knife - or Victoria Beckham's therapist when she finds out that nobody in LA gives a sh** about her and she has a coronary.
