it is a percent- with 1.00 beingg the maximum thresh hold-
also, we were discussngg this on namepros this week- the buyer can NOT use his charge card to fund tthe sale. so if you are doing a sale, and you want the buyer to pay with mass pay, the money has to be in the paypal account already. in other words, no cc chargebacks.

Thanks Stian! I've been wondering how to do that but was too lazy to look into it :)

Did it once with help from a fellow DNF'er but forgot ... thanks for the refresher.
It worked for XXXX.XX and I was only charged $1.

thanks a lot for this dude, I didn't notice it before and just tried it, saved a couple of buck.
Very nice :)

I'm glad so many people have found this information useful. I hope it will save you some bucks in the long run. :)

thanks for sharing this feature of paypal!
Is there any solution for receiving small payments on paypal! i have Web Directory where people submit links for 1.8 euros but paypal gets most of the amount from that!

PayPal should only take a maximum of 5% in fees (the highest I've paid is around 4.5%) - how come they are taking "most of" that amount?

Could you post the fee breakdown? (When viewing the transaction, press the question mark next to the total fee amount).

this sounds interesting .. will have to check out .:) thanks

Wow - after over 6 years with paypal I feel like a noob for just learning that... thanks!

This is very cool to learn about! After being a freebie member for a long time it's good to get started learning the ins and outs of the trade.

Never knew this, will try it out when I feel its needed, care if I spread how this works on another forum?

What a great post!

Would mass pay be safe for transactions in the $x,xxx and $xx,xxx range?

I've done multiple 4 & 5 digit payments in the same mass pay file without any issues. Works slick.

paypal should make it easier to use mass pay. everybody write them. if there was an extra check-box or simpler method for casual buyers it would be a plus. our experience is that half the buyers end up paying the "old-fashioned" paypal way due to complications.

Thank you for your Post ! It's nice!

Great tips :)

I am signing up for a new paypal account now, which account should I choose? Personal, premier or business account? I hope it was okay that I posted this here insteaed of making a new paypal thread.
