How to invest in BuyDomains?

I've browsed around their website but haven't found any info on investing in their company- anyone know if it is privately held or if there is available stock or anything? They own so many good domains I think they're a good investment with $.

They broker domains dont they?.. I'm pretty sure they dont own all of them.

Only say this because i know domains ive let drop which are now on there which arent owned by them.. owned by third parties.

they might broker i'm not sure. they do offer registering and parking with protective whois..which is probably why some 3rd party names have "BuyDomains" in the whois..

it would be better to invest in their domains than their company.

Thye are a divsion of YesDirect, Inc of Waltham, MA
It appears they are private with backing from investment companies like Highland Capital Partners Inc. I am not certain though.You could always call them and ask.

They owned 600,000 names in Jan 2006 according to www.prweb.com/releases/2006/1/prweb340155.htm

They get a mention in a May 2006 Baltmore Sun article that lists some other companies with big domain portfolios

BTW, BuyDomains is currently liquidating its entire portfolio of adult and gambling names. Firsale Prices! I just grabbed a couple hundred.

I'm dumping 66 Adult Streight domains for $600.00 and 42 gay ones
in bulk for $400.00 because it's a pain working both them and streight..

I think they dumped the Gambling Domains because Congress is
talking about a new law to prevent internet gambling and they're
not taking any chances ..
