IDN DESPERATION MAY LEAD TO MASS SUICIDE

Well, not really a mass suicide, since there only 20 people worldwide collecting this sh!t. Compare that with 20,000 people collection .mobi
Mobi just announced 1,000,000 domain regged.
IDNs dropped 45,000 in March and 50,000 in April.
China lost 4 mil names last year.

95,000 IDNs dropped in last 2 months?

How about a source for those statistics?

And maybe you can share how many new were registered during that period....

And only 20 people registering them???

Lets see, with 1,800,000+ million IDN registered that would be 90,000 names for each of the 20 domainers.

Sheesh, there must be a few hundred Hebrew IDN investors alone...and that is a tiny language compared to Chinese, Japanese, Russian etc.

DN-101 I see your point and agree with how you see it.

How can you make a nickel on domains that don't function correctly,
look like strange typos, and have been waiting for a software
patch for over 10 years?

The problem is my IDN revenue went up 32% last month.

See Http://IDNSEO.com (Actual Stats from SEDO Parking Affiliate Program)

* Earnings Per Click on the IDN xn--l8j.com is $1.06 for the April 2011.
This is already on par with many english domains that don't have
any technical software issues.

Now - if they can get these things to work properly - Look Out! -

Of course time will tell. But I am already turning a profit with my

IDN's. The proof is in the Stats.

Most of the technical issues were browser related which was corrected with the release of Microsoft IE-7, so no more patches needed if you have IE7 and up.

Unfortunately still a bit too many users in Asia still using IE-6 (not IDN compatable) but that is changing and just a matter of time until they move to IE7 and above. One of the technical issues that is still a bugger with IDNs is them not being compatable with e-mail, but that is also being resolved pretty quickly.

Nice to hear you are having success with monetizing, I have many IDNs annually making xx, and some xxx, and a Russian IDN that for 2 years has made x,xxx anually. ;)

Just a matter of time for IDN....based on where traffic has come in the last 5 years things are moving along very nicely.

xn--moble-p4a.com, what language is that?
I may have had it in the past, and had to drop it.

So.... does that make you one of the group of 20!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that Jose 'Alvarez' sure is. ;)

Google trends suggest xn--moble-p4a.com might be Turkish...or at least have Turkish letter ı when displayed as unicode: mobıle.

I bought a package of 10 names for $2.50 from one of those idn regulars, and it turned out that they weren't worth even that much. Had to drop them all.

I'm afraid your right again dn-101.

I was kicked off IDNForums.com (Where the regulars IDNers chat)

after I challenged thier top poster (10% of total forum posts)

to produce a single actual IDN domain (they owned) with real/verifyable stats.

Apparently the owners of the Forum couldn't handle the reality check.

- Forums like this give IDN's a bad name in general.

Join IDNForums.com and you can be pretty sure to be insulted by one of the

regulars at some point.

Talk is cheap where are their stats pages!

That's one reason I posted the http://IDNSEO.com IDN Stat Tracking Site.
(Tracks where IDN's are at this point in time)

=> If IDN's do start working as I do expect I'm sure other IDN sites will pop up

which will have more credible and hopefully have fewer con men as members.

Hey - I'll buy you a Stabucks 'Venti' one day to cover the $2.50 IDN loss!

We're all not that bad.

Obviously, this data is a complete bs. No parking pays more than a dime for idn anymore.
I'm sure it will impress your idn buddies, including Usama bin Laden. Too bad, he already committed suicide with the help of the ASCII crowd.

Nothing beats development. To cite an example, my developed Thai IDN, เกมส์.com (Games.com in Thai), has recieved 476,748 unique ips and 3.51 million pageviews in a month. Hope learning about this doesn't make you suicidal for missing the IDN train. If you don't believe my stats check out Google Keyword Tools for the search volume for "เกมส์" (if you are too lazy to check, it's 5 million monthly searches [Exact] and 37.2 million [Broad]) and search for the keyword "เกมส์" on google to see its serp and you would see เกมส์.com on the first page and the domain has ranked mostly between #1-3 and usually stays on the first page.

I can tell you as a native Thai speaker that in Thailand IDNs have become more mainstream than ever. The largest music company in Thailand is using Thai IDNs to target the Thai market and other large organizations including the news media and the government have been using and benefiting from Thai IDNs. The world doesn't just speak English and IDN adoption is not just happening in Thailand, other IDN markets like Russia, China and the Arab world are taking off as well and most premium IDNs are already taken.

Here comes a bad news for you: China is developing so fast. It will soon be a world economic and political giant.

I know this is an English forum, your native language is English, and you need domains in English (or ascii domains).

I also know, from your post, that, you do not believe that Chinese people need domains.

You are somewhat right that many Chinese people do not know domains. Many Chinese communicate with computer by using a writing pad; they write Chinese words on the pad instead of typing in a website domain name or searching keywords as you do. Are Chinese stupid? You may think so because they don't know English.

As a matter of fact, Chinese IDNs will be ruling in China. The massively dropped .cn names are not IDNs, thay are ascii.cns. Right now the ascii.cns only cost 10 cents each to register in China, and they were free to register at some stage. Many ascii.cns are the results of many kids and students in practicing their registering skills, which are mostly rubbish.

IDN.cn are never cheap in China. They cost about $15 each to register.

Obviously, this data is a complete bs. No parking pays more than a dime for idn anymore.

Parked Japanese IDN average about .20- .25 across the board...Japan continues to have a good advertising base.

Russian and others probably average .02 - .08 but traffic is much stronger. A good portion of Russian IDN easily pay for their renewal and then some.

It's all just in its infancy...most 'locals' don't even know idn exist yet until they start the rollouts in cctld as in Russia. I think they got nearly a million idn.cctld's in their first year....which also has benefited idn.com.

Maybe he could't express himself well in English since it's not his native language and actually was trying to communicate to you that he was concerned about you being suicidal after hearing all the facts and figures from IDNers since you haven't got much to say after hearing them.

Here's are some IDN's stats showing a 32-day (EPC) Earnings Per Click of $1.10.

Verifiable graphs, Revenue, EPC - Basically the works are here for anyone still IDN-skeptical.

The IDN break out officially starts here, today 5/13/2011 with the facts.

The IDN uptrend will be tracked here at: http://IDNSEO.com for anyone interested in IDN's,

making money or just watching the uptrend continue.

(please be advised - we have no control over comments or claims made by other IDN speculators, so as with all
domain related investing - proceed with caution if you do decide to speculate)
