That's the offer I got. I think I should hold onto it. I need the money, but it's a great name. If I sold it I know I'd kick myself in 5 years. What to do?
What's it worth now/5years from now?

it's not a great name - it's okay while this web2.0 fad of mixing extensions to make words lasts. Take the money and run!

i 2nd that dude.. if thats what you really got offered take the money and RUN FAST because once people realize names like this are hard to say/advertise you wont get those offers no more!

IMO $2,000 is a very woderful prcie!Congers!

that domain is bad. it might be catchy now but that fad will die out....$2k is robbing the buyer. no one types in the DOT and alot of people wont understand it....take it and run!!!

let it go, If you keep it you'd kick yourself in 10 years.

kick yourself in 5 years for not selling it for $2,000 lol

Take the offer. I don't think you will get better than that (actually, you are lucky to get that offer, take it and don't look back).

definitely take the offer! 2k is a ton of money for this name.

I didn't take the offer. I think these names will increase in value. If developed this could do really well. Yahoo bought Blo.gs, it was a developed website, but that gets the idea out there to the public. One or two more developed names like this and people will change their minds. Most domain hacks have been bought, which means people out there think they have value or will have value. In 5 or 10 years from now, try to find a good forum domain. It's hard to find one now. Forums.com was created in 1996, what was it worth then, what's it worth now?? Try to buy Forums.com from it's owner and see what kind of price the counter with. I would guess min. XXX,XXX.xx
Domain names are hard to find and only getting harder to find. Foru.ms is not Forums.com but it's the next best thing IMO. I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I will look to develop this name in the near future.

I didn't take the offer.

Worst decision you will ever make.

Foru.ms is not Forums.com but it's the next best thing IMO.

Are you really being honest with yourself here?

Getting a few hundred would be lucky for you.

I would have taken it, but I wouldn't be upset for not taking it.

I have had offers on some of my hacked domains that are probably less enticing then this.

Everyone has an opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I'm not sure which is the nutcase here - the guy/girl/shim who offerd $2k for Foru.ms or the buyer for being so cluleless - either way buyer and seller are losing out in the long run.

Thank you.

That's your opinion, but if the seller is telling the
truth then a few hundred ISN'T lucky for him as he
can sell it today for $2K...

I think he had a decent offer, but he is obviously
aware of what happened with blo.gs (a multi-million
dollar sale) and is thinking (rightly, imo) that his name
is similar in many ways and in the same league.

Yes, blo.gs was a developed website, but it was still
built upon this name, so...

And this is an appraisal (OPINIONS) that is why I suggested he take the $2K.

i have to add to the pile.... you should have sold it. you were lucky to get that offer.

I agree, that is probably the only good offer for this domain you will get in a long time..value 5 years from now is $5 in my opinion

Nice offer for this name, should've be hard to pass up! What country tld is .ms anyway?

just my two cents.
