Hi all,

I'm from Aus and I'm about to register my domain name...To register it here it's $126 for two years...at the moment that works out at $71.25 US.

Is that ok or should I go elsewhere?

I too am from Australia and if you are talking about a .com.au name then the price you have is ok.

It is not easy registering .com.au names so good luck.

Matt

Yeah I hear ya matt its not easy registering a .com.au name! You apparently have to have a registered business for the domain name! (plus I believe its even more expensive than a .com name)

Luckly though I'm registering a .com name so I believe I should be able to get a cheaper deal .....I've read a few posts on this forum and it seems there are some shonky businesses out there  The question is who has the best deal?

Registerfly.com - US $9.99 for .com

ahhh thx beatz.....I was just browsing for a cheap domain resgister site now :)

Have you used this site before? Is it legitimate? I have heard of some bogus sites out there that will exploit credit cards

registerfly registers your domain and then they fly away with your money :)

the above is a joke
