This domains smells TM trouble.
If you use the name with anything related to travel, bookings or holidays you risk issues with the real Lastminute. The current setup could already be problematic IMHO.

Sdsinc, thank you for your post.
According to me, lastminute is a common word (used in the travel sector, for example by other websites susch as lastminutetour.com, adv, offline travel agencies), and online is another common word.
According to your opinion, every domain including the word lastminute may create TM problem?

If yes, with this criteria, due to the fact that "hotel DOT com" exists, every domain incuding hotel (ex: hotelonline.com, holtebooking.com, hotelsonline.com, ...) may create TM troubles.

According to me, if a company decide to use a common word as a brand, they have to know that they have a "weak" brand under the legal aspect.
Are there other people that think that this domain can create Tm troubles?
I'm very interested in your opinion about Tm trobles and domain value.

many thanks

mauro

*might* :)

Lastminute is well-known in the UK for low fares. In the USPTO alone there are a few various TMs for last minute so you need to be careful, I think you are walking on a fine line here.
While I agree that 'last minute' is pretty common, domainers often are unaware that even a generic keyword can be TMed within a certain scope (like Visa for credit cards or Apple for computers). To me Lastminute has a certain reputation in the travel industry but maybe it's just me.
Just a thought and be careful

I think the term "last minute" is rather generic, and many people use this term (on and offline) for travel etc. I think the legal trouble is rather limited, which doesnt mean that a company might not try to get this domain without any real legal basis. You just need to be careful that you dont use with one specific product such as the Visa card example sdinc mentioned.
I also think the value is very limited with this "online" addition. Sure, an end user might pay an ok sum, but for a reseller I think this is no more than $$
