Hi I received an offer on Sedo for 250 about a year ago. I turned it down. Now with more foreclosures coming on to the market, I believe it can can be sold for more.

What's your opinion on this? Thanks so much.

shoulda sold that puppy!

last year, is a lot different than this year ;)

it's a descriptive name for the market, but loan mods are slow

most users of such a calculator would be financial services and they probably wouldn't be looking up the term in google

if you're getting type traffic, there's a chance you could get more offers

especially if they loosen up the flow of loans/modifications to stop foreclosures

not saying it's worth this amount, but i'd ask for $1800.00, if an offer came thru email/sedo

You may scare the hell out of the buyer and he may not come back!

i never worry about it

it's a starting point for negotiations, where i would have room to "negotiate down" should a buyer counter offer

to someone in the business looking to develop such a calculator, one lead could pay that price

imo...

Loan Mods are slow. I am very aware of that. However, if the gov't tightens and improves
the loan modifications, then perhaps there would greater need for the calculator. That's what I'm waiting for I guess. Let's see how this plays out. Thanks all.

Any stats? Or better develop it.

no stats. I agree in regards to development. Do you know of any decent developers who can do that at a decent price?
If so, please let me know. I would like to get it developed. Thanks

Hi. You can see what I m doing at Mortgage Payment Calculator and Affordability Calculator.
I m currently building wordpress plugins so other websites can use my calculators too.

Do you have some examples for those calculators so I can let you know if I can do it and when.

pm me for more...

Excellent info. I will see if I can get a hold of the calculators. I'll PM you shortly. Thanks so much.

I agree, I would have sold it for that

I can say that this domain alone worth $250, revenue can be made since cpc cost and ctr are really high.
The thing is that they are many domains available for potential buyers to choose from so competition is really high.
If I wasnt looking for development I d sold it for $250-$300.

LoanCalculator.com sold for $215,000 this year.

Leslie, I suggest you ask people who are both domain investors AND loan specialists with respect to its true value.

Good Luck

Woah, What!!!! I'll look into it. But who can you really trust to appraise a domain value?

Exactly, its only worth what the end-user is willing to pay. I would certainly look into the buyer of LoanCalculator.com, who knows??

Good luck

yes, I will propose to them and other financial entities "loanmodificationcalculator.com" AND "loanreductioncalculator.com" of which I own too. Perhaps I'll see it as a packaged deal to the end user. Thanks.

By the way, just went to your site "online financial calculators". Great website since it has all calculators at one location. Cool

The person you turned it down to may be one of the 581,000 search results for "loan modification calculator", including possibly theloanmodificationcompany.org or loanmodificationcalculator.info coming in at number 11.

In other words, there are 581,000 various types of loan modification calculator sites out there right now.

Now, a year later, you are looking to sell to the "end user"????

Your end user is someone who already has a site and gave up on you.

Therefore, YOU should be the end user and create your own site and try to garner that traffic away from everyone else. The time, effort, money spent on trying to sell this would pay for a site and start earning possibly something.

Honestly, a year later and you are still asking, what should I do with it?

Thank you.
I ll be adding more and more each week that passes.
