I've noticed several landing pages run by Marchex are randomly redirecting to websites using fake error and virus warnings. Javacript alerts try to trap the visitor into a loop, and clicking on anything will initiate installation of know malware/spyware.

This is bad for PPC but great for anyone wondering who to sue after hours of frustration and lost data.

Not cool. I'd suggest an urgent email to Marchex. I do not believe they would knowingly condone this behavior.

How could they serve ads containing a redirect without being aware. They're not dumb.
