ehh. you're leaving already?

good job guys, you scared away ONE of the
FEW babes in this forum. First hippiechick gets
in trouble for posting naked pics of herself and now
this.

ehh. this is bad news...

OK Folks!

You've convinced me to stay...however, don't expect any Hippy Chick thing going on, treat me like one of the lads!

This next domain has something to do with Employment? Relating to a specific industry...not bull cr*p, men in kilts, hamburgers / fries, before you say it. Generic, easy to remember, catchy, very marketable, received 2 offers already, developed... What do you think? Is it worth investing or time to stop nesting? Will email top secret info to private messengers.

Sorry Mod's for the bad language I did use a *

Actually I tried to bid on WellsFargo.net after you did but I didn't make it in time. I thought maybe if I bought it--turned it over to them--they might give me a reward.

I wonder if that has ever happened?

Hey I noticed Quicken.org came available yesterday for all you adventure lovers!

P.S IF you are into "misspellings" just some advice. Stick to the generic misspellings. Yesterday "Christms.com" became available and I would imagine gets a few "targeted" hits during the Christmas holidays.

Cheers everyone!

Don't let Greg see that. He will buy it. :)

I would if it was the .net--but I don't know about the .org

I wonder...

The guy who owns MacDonalds.com still seems to have it, so owning or using variations doesn't seem like a pressing issue I would think ( but no one should forget about eToys.com versus etoy.com, the classic battle of "money talks" ). As far as listing this domain in this forum, I'd say that the ONLY reason to register McDonnalds.com would seem to play off of the popularity of McDonalds.com.

Under the "family name" notion however, I find it particularly odd that mcdonnald.com is still very much available. Outside of that logic-hiccup, you've got the rare mispelling traffic to work with. Don't know if that's worth much if anything.

P.S. I liked this old news story item best:
peta.org: An organization entitled "People Eating Tasty Animals" obtained the peta.org domain name, much to the disgust of the better know People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. This domain name was suspended, but as of May 2000 the domain name was still registered in the name of People Eating Tasty Animals.

I wasn't sure on the .org myself, however my feelings are that "Quicken" never cared about the .org. And they never appartently went after who owned it last.

My feeling is your safe with the .org , but not 100% sure! "Quicken" gets fabulous hits on overture, and I do notice that some "Quicken" vendors who sell these products have bid on the word "Quicken". Are there any TM issues with certain keywords ??? (or is this something new :D--Interesting legal concept given that most SE's will be on some type of "PPC" revenue stream in the future if they aren't already. Could someone bid on the word "Microsoft"???)

Greg, put some affiliate links and tutorials on integrating Quicken with a number of other software products and businesses, and you've got a nice website little money-maker there. People are constantly wondering about that stuff... that and Quickbooks integration... wait-a-sec... [Quickly checks Quickbooks.org] Nope, its taken since '98. Coming soon though! ;)

Well sh*t... I knew I should have grabbed it before Greg got it.

He doesn't respond to my friendly howdy from Richardson post--but he sure tore his ass quick to get that name. I am getting tired of his avatar too. Those eyes are looking right at me--and it's giving me the creeps.

Excuse me--I have to go send an email to the owner of WellsFargo.net

:D j/k

Hi,
if you read the WIPO desicions, one of the first things they look for to prove bad faith is linking to a competitor.
You went ahead and did that.
Now just pray you don't get caught!
I think the rule with a contradicting domain is not to make any mistakes and to proceed very careful.
I know that's what I am doing.
Best of luck!
