$0, since it's worth less than the cost of maintaining the registration per year.

It's something that can be brandable. Japan companies have weird names like that. However, since the .jp domain isn't oversaturated it may not be good for a while and may not be worth the renew. Good to devolop but not to sell

everything can be brandable....unless you spend the money on marketing.. it's probably not worth enough to pay $70 per year

Nice name.

I am not sure if you are aware or not, but there is a major computer vendor called www.newegg.com. They are very big. So there could be some confusion there.

I don't know if it's a good thing or not. I make a point of not running around telling people what is right and wrong (unlike a lot of people on this forum) because I am not a lawyer.

I just saw that newegg.com

Their name is not Copyrighted maybe in the US but not in Japan
As long as you dont copy their content you are not breaking any copyright law.

Japan is also a excellent computer market =)

If you just saw Newegg.com you might have been living under a stone for the past 4 years.

Newegg.com is the best online retailer of computer & hifi equipment.

What would you use Newegg.jp for? Japanese boiled egg recipes?

Isn't .co.jp better than .jp anyway?
