What do you think NVPC.com is worth? I'd hate to waste 175 on the
redemption fee if this name is no good..

phew, thats a horrid redemption fee. Its got potential due to pc in there, but its very hard to say whether you should spend $175 to keep it. I think it definitely has potential to sell for more, but it could be a while coming. Does it get hits? It depends on your financial situation, as it is an investment that might not pay you back for a while. Why such huge costs?

Well, I guess the reason they charge so much for redemption is because
they no that if I want it, I have no choice but to pay a ridiculous fee.
They're just simply taking advantage of me. It's NameScout, by the way.
I dunno if I'll do it. I guess I could keep it a few more years and
maybe it'll be worth something, being a 4 letter .com.

That would make my domain nearly worthless, right? :)

Wrong - you've got to evaluate the name... other versions registered? Other cc TLDs registered? Popularity (matches) in google search - and what different uses for the acronym? Has any links? Had any traffic?

I was getting good 4-letter combos when 3-letter dot-coms were commonly selling for $500 to $2000. Today, even the "less-desirable" 4-letter combinations are going. I think all 4-letter combos will be gone in the not-too-distant future.

In reference to DGC's post, it's because he can (he owns this forum) and its a mid term investment :-)
