Hello,

The initials are right NYC but not for what everyone might think.

The name is NewYorkClan.com

What are your thoughts and opinions on this name for a gaming community?

NewYorkCommunity.com would work a little better I think as gaming 'clans' tend to make up the gaming 'community', however If you were to use the plural 'clans', this would imply community ie; NewYorkClans.com which is even better, though that is just a pet peeve regarding my obsession with details.

Hello Matthew,

Thank YOU!

I think that newyorkcommunity.com sounds too much like a message board about New York only and not gaming. Newyorkclans.com it's more like a website about multiple clans while newyorkclan is just about only one.

I totally concur Julio, it does not reflect Gaming in any way, my bad ;)

I get it now with 'Clan' encapsulating the 'community and clans'.

I stand corrected Julio, your original semantic does fit the theme of your project perfectly as is.

Gawwd, I have not fallen for 'bait' like that in quite a while.

Note to self: 'If it 'aint broke, don't fix it'.
