Wonderful speculation, if you hit the jackpot then this can be worth something..
but consider this..if you want to sell this to someone..it wont get you much money..

best thing would be make a small page just with the domain name and say "waiting for something to happen" when it does happen you will have nice search engine listings..but ..keep your fingers crossed!

Meh, if there ever is a scandal, you'll be competing with the likes of CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. etc. who will be giving great coverage. Why would anyone want to come to your site? Doing anything with it prior to any scandal, or even an unproven one, will open yourself up to liability IMO.
