I don't think New York is a popular travel destination for Hong Kong people.

The top North American destination for Hong Kong residents is Vancouver (Canada), the next in line are west coast USA like LA/San Francisco/Seattle, and then Toronto. But then again, the English-speaking world has NEVER been popular. They used to go to SE Asia A LOT, and for the last 10 years or so, China.
