Hi,

I've been trying to sell "PODCAST.info" on Sedo for a while (and rejected two low offers).
BIt's hard for me to figure the right price though...

"Podcast" on Google: 117,000,000 results (!)
"Podcast" on OVT: 72,900

Of course, it's a ".info", but considering the subject, I think it could increase the value rather then decreasing it.

What do you think?

Thanks for the help

On the trademark issue:

There is no issue! :) - "the Apple Trademark Department has stated that Apple does not license the term 'podcast' or object to its generic usage"

See Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcast

Or this letter from Apple:
http://globalgeek.thepodcastnetwork...ting-apple-does-not-licence-the-term-podcast/

On the asking price:

Well, that's the big question...
Honestly, I think I'd have difficulties to accept an offer that is not in the $xx,xxx range. I would certainly not consider any offer in the $xxx range, but I could open an auction with a reasonable offer in the $x,xxx range, and see what happens.

Anyway, your advices are welcome!

That is certainly good news for you indeed!

let it go to auction and you will get the best price..with the interest you have already this should be a good auction at Sedo, even if the first offer is 100 bucks..the market will always tell you what its worth and will either surprise you how much you get for it or give you a little reality check..

Auction ended a few minutes ago. Final price: $1,610, after 32 bids. Not bad :)
