Apple doesn't even own iPhones.com ...Apple said they have NO interest in buying iPhones.com

I know that Vision, I was replying to post 61... The point was why would any big corp want to waste their time and money going after a low level TLD like .mobi?... I know your a big fan of .mobi and I dont want to ruffle your feathers... just asking.

I'd be interested to know how many UDRP filings there were for Mobi last year, do you know?

Ask TexasInstruments, ask Playboy.... several exist...

Heck, today FoxNews started advertising FoxNews.mobi thoughout their telecast....

Stay Tuned...

I think Rick's post made relevant points about the nature of speculation (risk vs. reward). Maybe an intelligent discussion could occur around that.

Or would that ruin the bashing fetish?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't your $24.95 REG assumption for .mobi naive? As far as I'm aware it was auctioned by the registry so WHO exactly had the chance to REG it for $24.95 and RISK?

It's amazing how a guy who is known for pushing .mobi and telling everyone how successful these will be if developed, is parking flowers.mobi and showing a bunch of useless ads for sites that would never display properly on a phone, even a smart phone (due to their flash content nature).

If you want an extension to be successful and adopted by the cell phone industry, develop. I guess that will never happen since 99% of .mobis are owned by domainers. Wonder what would happen if it was the .com...

Dude, I'm agreeing with you. You are correct. I made a mistake.

I will play my "I have the flu and I am not thinking right" card. Porn was an mTLD reserve name.

I miss the domainkingofkings.com blog...Rick made a lot more sense in that one...

For example, last Tuesday night, Jim McCann said they were working on a system that you will be able to send a “Virtual Bouquet” to someone sitting in a nightclub you might be at.

So dot mobi is the only TLD capable of delivering virtual flowers, interesting... I'm curious how this "Virtual Bouquet" would be delivered, I'm sitting alone at a table with my Iphone in hand, how does someone send me anything without knowing anything about me?, Do we need another TLD for that one?

nightclub.id

Porn was an mTLD reserve name.

For a minute there, I thought I could register porn.asia for reg fee....

can somebody actually stop posting news on "Rick Schwartz" - who cares??? it's pretty annoying! Schwartz did this Swatz did that~ who gives a s*it
he's not even an active member here ! he can brag around his own blog and not spamming his mobiflowers here

or should be posted in Advertisements !

I think the entire .mobi section should be moved to Advertisements

He has other names like that...
I am no cybersquatter and most folks in the industry are not cybersquatters either! I am a smart businessman just like many of my counterparts that figured out that the way others were doing it put things in the wrong order.

Right. Of course, all of us this forum and our other heavenly dotcom gurus have nothing but original content sites and no one is parking anything.

But boy oh boy, don't call us squatters. Because we're doing something with our domains.
