I am not good at .co.uk names, but this is a name I got 2 years ago, so if anyone can help me by telling me if it has any value... There is an oil company with this in their name, and an airline.

Its a TM violation, the best you can hope for is some good traffic before getting in legal trouble

TM? Not with more then one company useing the same name. Royal Dutch I would concider generic.

You from the UK? I am not, I only read later about the oil co and airliner, so I don't see what you are talking about. As for court, who would take me to court over a name like this? it is not that special.

to be honest im from the uk, and i dont think ive heard of royal dutch, hope this helps

it honestly doesnt matter if some kid has heard of it or not, that only says something about the limited knowledge of that person, but not about the fact that its the TM and Name of the 3rd!! biggest company in the world, I just looked it up and "royal dutch" its regged as an international TM in 36 classes.., but I think we all have typo domains etc, its a good name might have some traffic, but it means the value here is also only in traffic since nobody can really use it for their brand name..
