I'm new to the domain business, well sort of. I sold my first under 4 character .com last year and after the sale the buyer sold it for MUCH more than I sold it for.

So I'm learning! Need help understanding if I should wait to sell this guy: jrdw.com

its a chinese market domain, sell it but sell it wisely and fr correct price, waiting is not a solution, proper research before making a sale is

Maybe your buyer had HIS market to sell at a better price, and maybe that market cost him time/effort/money/experience. If your sale was profitable and met your initial expectations, plus had a decent ROI/risk and ROI/waiting time ratios, I wouldn't regret having sold it.

I am not passionate about 4char domains, unless they really mean something (i.e. jean, gold, boat, etc.) but there is a market. Look for similar sales and see if you can find a specific niche of end users.

Yes, you should ! Wait for a good offer to sell it and/or don't auction it without a min bid. I like the domain and have always loved a J. That letter gets a bad rap and it shouldn't. Italian is the only major language that does not use J. And W is definitely not premium but it's used often enough in the beginning of words for non-Romance languages

It also depends on what you paid for it (it matters to some buyers) but the main thing is its market value WHEN you sell it. If you look at ROI 100% of the time you'll both undersell (names you paid $10 for may be worth $1K to some and no one looks for an ROI that high) and conversely you'll overshoot when you set your pricing (ie you paid $500 for a dog 5 yrs ago, keep renewing it and price just does not come back and/or no good offers, you may just wanna sell for say $100, eat the loss and use this $100 more wisely)

And like they said it's made for the Chinese market since nowadays they kill for LLL.com's n LLLL.com's with no vowels or V. Over $1,000 or do not sell, it's good enough for Westerners too
