Storage.us , need your opinions , also - which way would you say is better for developing... Data Storage or Self Storage.

When I saw this name I thought about Shurgard

If you do a Google search on 'storage' (http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=storage&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8)
Shurgard actually appears in the first page along with sites like http://sus.com/

So I see two possible uses:
1. self-storage for all kinds of stuff
and of course
2. computer storage media & backup systems
I favor solution #2 but both are fine.

IMO the name would be worth a lot more with a real business behind it.
Who knows this one might become nearly a household word.

Receives this evening's "breath of fresh air" award for a non-lowball appraisal that smells like basic candor . I was going to say $xx,xxx as well. My gut feeling is that this might be more sought after and popular for a brick and mortar self-storage business, but I would be perfectly happy to see it do well some other way. One of the best names I've seen on the board lately - congrats. Could go higher than low $xx,xxx now, and perhaps much higher later.

I would say low $xx,xxx also. For some reason I think the .US makes it more suited for B&M self storage. Good luck with it.

To answer your question JDK, I thought when I find out that we have a newbie member in the forum who has proven to be a scam artist, that it best be pointed out in the most recent postings by that scammer. Or do you still think the appraisal of his name is more important?

By the way JDK, you might pm me and suggest I edit a post instead of threatening a warning point. I've now seen you sticking up for this clown in 2 threads. It would seem in the best interest of DNforum to protect it's members from these fraudsters, rather than erasing warnings and trying to create excuses for the guy. If one of DNFs long term and trusted members says you have a wolf in your midst, your first move shouldn't be to jump to the wolfs defense.
