What do you think it's worth, both end user price, and wholesale?

Thanks

P.S. Don't know how much difference it makes, but it seems all the other domain extensions are reserved.

$400-$800 realistic.

I'm curious, may i ask how you come up with that figure?

For instance i own iMobi.net which is the same extension, same number of letters, 26 other extensions taken and based on a booming technology/industry, PR3 and getting traffic yet i get reg fee appraisals.

first of all let me start by saying that spirituality is also a booming industry. giving away your soul is a lot more serious than buying some throwable gadget. if you own someone's soul, you've got customer for life

i didn't appraise imobi.net as reg fee, as a matter of fact i like it (including the fitting extension. btw, imobi.biz is available)

but i'll give you some comparison (excluding revealing my private mental 'what sold for what' database) that will hopefully make you see some rationale behind my 'swami' appraisal:

swami: meaningful dictionary word (also brandable)
imobi: made up term (just brandable, and only in a very crowded industry)

swami: almost 6 million results in google
imobi: 90,000 results in google

swami: several thousand searches in overture
imobi: 0 overture

swami: six year old domain with records going back to late 1998
imobi: two year old domain with records going back to late 2001

sample developed 'swami' sites from first five pages in google (14):

swami.se
swami.org
swamirecords.com
swamimusic.com
swamlove.com
swamiyo.com
theswami.com
swamisita.com
swamisamarth.com
swami-krishnananda.org
swamikriyananda.org
swamisatchidananda.org
romapadaswami.com
swamij.com

sample developed 'imobi' sites from first five pages in google (9, but all in foreign countries):

imobi.pt
imobi.pl
imobi.com.au
avalonimobi.com
avalonimobi.com
imobivirtual.com.br
dispoimobi.ro
imobiimoveis.com
imobi-marica.com.br

Excellent thanks for the great rundown, i do see where you are coming from now. I did Google it when the domain was first posted, read the Wiki article because i'd never heard the word before and though really reg fee.. So was very shocked to come back and see your appraisal figure.

However i guess your right, i do see value in it now and could fetch a really high figure to the right end user.

Also iMobi is an actual mobile DTV technology, hence the large number of taken extensions.
