I spent 1 hour today sorting through them and came up with about 150 I am interested in.

A funny one for this drop is jacko.ca

Well I thought style.ca and a few others were good from today's drop. Looks like jcm.ca , cng.ca, nsf.ca and oah.ca were the best 3 chars. But there were some nice domains I can see.

One quickie though...How long before after the TBR are the unclaimed names available for registration? I saw a few nice-to-have's yesterday, but didn't want to shell out $35+ to get them and figured I'd try to get them at reg fee later on. Thanks

Those would be available just after TBR ends..usually around 4.00pm. I am sure there were quite a few of them.

Are there any decent names actually dropping and not getting picked up?

I find even mediocre names are getting picked up through the TBR.

Usually unclaimed names are available right after the drop, or soon after. Same day.

I see style.ca is at $1470 now, nice name for a fashion type site.

Aside from the LLL and a few one worders, for 8000 names dropped not a heck of a lot of quality in there.

Saw in yesterday's dnjournal report that trouver.ca sold for about $2600 at Sedo (it's a french verb meaning 'find' or 'to find'). Nice price for a french .ca - looks like Yellow Pages bought it. Was that domain in a TBR recently?

I got 9 on the TBR yesterday and another 4 I am in auction for and imho there are still many names that weren't grabbed that are a great $10 reg value.
Lots went on to my ever growing list.

I was surprised with some I got without them going to auction.

Wow, style.ca for $4300 and jcm.ca for $600.. that's nice to hear. I sure agree with the value on the former.. and sure did see some good domains on the list, but was very hesitant to jump in...

130 out of a list 150 is great DCG.. wow that's an excellent success rate!!
