"Expanded.us"
Google search results=6 million in quote marks for "expanded"
3,000 for "expanded.us"

Any ideas for applications or value?

Tough to say... Expanded what? I dont think the U.S. is planning to expand any time soon. This domain falls in the same category as my covering.us

Sorry, m8. I think this one is a $0

expanded.us/coverage.html
expanded.us/spandex_clothing.html
expanded.us/health_services.html
expanded.us/media.html

and so on....

expanded = $50; expand = $500

I think that this one has very limited upside ... due to its "past tense", in my opinion. Also, the ".US" is still very new, and unproven in re-sale. Sorry.
Good Luck.

Past tense really hurts, in all extensions. So I'm afraid this one won't do much no matter how .US is received.

Actually, I think Past Tense works in some cases... ie Wired, Buzzed, Unplugged... it's gotta be cool and marketable. :cool:

Those are good ones mindful. Of course there are exceptions to every rule.
