I was thinking of putting this one on Sedo Auction, and was curious on the price people think VideoGames.biz is worth.

This is one very high quality .biz . The .COM would be $xxx,xxx . I would still say that this name would sell for mid $x,xxx to resellers. Good luck with it!

Yes this would be a bargain. I would say this is a 3-5k reseller name.

Yeah, first and only bid is at $1,400, so it will be selling to the first bidder at $1,400 later today unless a higher offer comes in.

I would have thought it would be around the $7k range, but I guess the market sets the price.

Strong keyword though, and if the right Video Games end user comes along it could be worth big bucks. Especially to some of these mega rich companies where money isn`t a problem.

I'm gonna be very surprised if that name doesn't move up significantly at the end of the auction. It's one of THE great biz names out there. Doubt very much you would have ok'd that starting $1400 if not confident it would go up. Represents an entire industry, what better for a biz name? Could be the industry main site with manufacturer listings etc. etc. Ex's attorney says I'm spose to be selling and not buying, otherwise I'd be in that one myself.

i saw that earlier when browsing sedo- was quite surprised it just had one bid- fine name- sometimes that hapepns tho- gold goes for pennies, trash goes for thousands :-( good luck!

I have done the same thing a couple of times. That's what harsh with no reserve auctions. But then again, no reserve auctions may skyrocket sometimes, which is part of the excitement I guess. I hope for your sake that this name goes much higher though, and I'm sure it will. Good luck

I think thats a good reflection of that .biz is really not in demand right now..especially with the .mobi auction going on at the same time the timing was maybe a little off with plenty of people thinking they need to spend money on mobis.

Also.. I think this is the perfect example how TALK is very different from actually buying..sometimes I think the appraisal prices are very inflationary here as many people think they are doing someone a favor by giving high appraisals... if anyone that thought this is a 2-4k domain for a reseller or people saying it was such a bargin...where were the bids? I think its more important to give accurate appraisals rather than looking for a "thanks" by the original person posting as I often see people (not this post) saying "thanks" only to people who's appraisal seems high enough and some are even offended if people post below normal values. Either way..I am not second guessing the value here, but I think Sedo auctions are watched enough to reflect accurate reseller prices.
