There is a domain I am interested in grabbing for a client.

It's expired at 1and1.

Where do 1and1 domains go when the expire for auction?

It looks like Sedo.

ionos is the new name for 1and1.com but there’s still 1und1.de etc

Sedo is active here @Helmuts?

Hi, Sedo should be getting all the email notifications on all mentions here.

Not sure why they are not replying, especially as they are friends and looooong time patrons of DNForum and Summits. .. something probably in company politics. I have noticed that upon reaching some level companies start getting policies on answering emails and representing companies online/offline (every move needs an approval) - seems to be the case with Verisign, GoDaddy and some others. .. probably also the case with our friends.

.. we did jointly update all their accounts on our forums and made sure the email accounts attached to these are real.

Can't comment really if this is good or not - I am lucky to have a small company that's employees (rather a family or crew) are allowed to talk freely online (maintaining some basic principles of ethics).
