Okay, I have a good idea what this domain is worth. But I'm interested (I'm new to this forum) as to what forum members think. (New tld)

Workfor.US

(I own it). Note the dual meanings. "Get it"?

Thanks to all for your quick respsonses. What do I think its worth?

Actually I think it's worth very little as of today. I agree with Nic - It's too new to rate appropriately and it would be foolish to sell now. I'm quite content to wait 5-8 years before selling. But I think it would be perfect for the US government or a major government employment headhunter. Especially with the new security jobs opening up. Or pehaps a major temporary agency seeking applicants. I also think "Workforus" is more inviting to a job seeker than something such as "jobs for you".

Was just interested in your first-look reaction to the name.
Thanks everyone - you confirmed my positive bent towards name.

Hello Timechange:
I must confess I don't know the "story" about selling on ebay (not that I plan to sell there). I have heard of major blunders with people with extremely high (million dollar names) domain names losing a really good offer because of someone else offering a ridiculously high bogus bid. Is that why I see negative comments on this forum about ebay? I.e. should higher priced domains only be sold at private auction? If you have a moment I'd appreciate the scoop on selling on ebay. Thanks. Skylark.

No, I was referring to another thread under Domain Names, titled "ebay's legal dpt. has a VREY long arm:

Congrats on the sale, this was a very good 'hack', perfect
for employee recruitment.

I'm sure the buyer is pleased too, and will make a great
site out of it.

Thanks!
PS SEDO did a great job. The money was wired to me in less than 24 hrs after Enom "push" to Sedo.

Sedo?!

I thought they didn't understand 'hacks'!...

Can I be a cheeky monkey and ask how much you got for it,
and who your broker was at Sedo?

(PM is best, if you are able to tell me).

Cheers,

PM will be sent.

Also, I didn't use a broker to negotiate the sale. I handled the negotiations (thanks to many selling/negotiation tips at DNForum and other sources! Sometimes it pays to study up :))

Sedo was used only for escrow.
