Well, I guess you could say I decided to invest in people's interest in cash in the hope that it would reap dividends. Then I could give some of it away, spend some, and let the rest earn cash interest. :cheesy:

Dont be disheartened.. domains are worth whatever people will pay for them.. quite often my best sales are names which i personally think arent that good.. but somebody happens to want it so they pay good money.

I've sold quite a few names within a month of letting them expire for $X,XXX.. keep doing your thing dont let others put you off Unless you are buying these names off third parties or something for premiums then maybe ease up a little on all the purchases.. but if you are picking them up from drops i say keep reging them.. even in the worst case if you sell them for $xx or $xxx thats still a good return on investment

Personally i'm acquiring large numbers of domains at the moment with the opinion that if they all AT LEAST turn a profit on their cost of acquisition then i keep getting more.. I'm aiming for 3000 new names within the next 6-12 months. Sales and the really good names pickup the slack anyway while i try and grow the portfolio some more.

Even the worst/weird name can sell for $xxxx, therefore nice/generic names worth only $xx.

Personally I have one or two cash names which I hope 'em to grow strong as you do so don't doubt yourself! Lets take good care of 'em together! :-D
