I thought my appraisal was accurate.

Besides, as far as $20,000, I'm sure he is hiding the true price he was quoted for the domain, which is smart of him.

Otherwise, all you guys would look up the whois and send offers.

I'm sure Eddie has something good working..super cheap, like he said. But if your $20,000 buying price was true, a lot of people on here will highly advise against it, I'm sure....

...Good Luck

Hmmm, not sure why you are attacking me. I said "your best name yet" to eddie, and appraised higher than

whois-search- $500

and same as

bidawinner - 1k - 1500

I appraised at $250-$1500

So...not sure what you mean....but get well soon. :weird:

Awesome name for an in demand $100-$500 costing specific product. If it really has that traffic happening then its obviously worth way more. Specific product names are great because your visitors, whether through typeins or through a properly optimized website, are probably looking for exactly that product making a good chance for a sale and of course its a very easy name to remember. I'd say at least 10-15k name alone. With traffic of that caliber, 25k+ maybe a lot more.

Doberry, no offense, but your appraisals do tend to be ridiculously low. thats a pattern i've noticed.

Well eddie says he found this domain for sale cheap, at $20,000, so he doesnt own it.

He is only considering buying it because it is "super cheap" according to him.

Who would buy this for $20k on speculation...I mean, only an end-user would pay $20K, like amazon.com....

So i guess what I don't get is his logic???

Buy for $20k - and hope you can break even??? Because the market is down, as we all know...and this may draw buyers in at around $1500-15K...

???

>especially if it was recieving 200,000 hits a month

I seriously doubt it's getting that many NOW. OV figures are pretty low.

And it's a short-term sort of domain name. cdplayers.com is worth now what dvdplayers will be worth in 3 years time.

And with the price of dvd players plummeting, you're gonna have to sell a SHITLOAD to recover spending $20,000 on that name.

If I bought it, I'd be paying $4000 max.

Don't worry, I know you don't have the money. You asked me to borrow $20 so you could buy a great domain name about 3 weeks ago, lol....

He approached me telling me he was the broker for sexy.com at $125k.

Elaborate facade was played out for a good 5-10 emails. When I asked routine questions about his relationship to seller, he asked if I was questioning his credibility.

After he b.s'ed me thoroughly and fully, I still gave him another chance to prove himself, sort of out of pity.

More nonsense. Then a long, neurotic email to finalize the whole journey of b.s.

I'd stay clear of this nutcase.

I gave him a long leash, and he still acted like a dishonest idiot.
