That is just the live auction list... I think many of us are looking for the Silent Auction list at this point... I know I am :)

Also, isn't it odd that all the bolgs are printing the auction sales in REVERSE order? Maybe it's to look like it got more exciting as the auction went on. LOL!

Anyway, congrats to all the buyers and sellers... now let's hear about the SILENT auction :)

Agreed Gopc,
let's really silent this! I have none in it, but will definitely get some in for next time. Good luck fella.

NEED TO ADD SOME FRESH .MOBIS & IT'S AUTOMERGING. TA

I never jumped on the .mobi bandwagon. I guess you miss some. Still not sure why the prices are so high so early when you can do the same thing with any website regardless of the extention. So, flowers.tld can do whatever flowers.mobi can. Is it the industry support/backers that is driving this .mobi craze?

Collectively, I'm interested to know what "we" in here think the industry is going to do with these names. Like, flowers.mobi seems very obvious, but what of the others? Does anyone in here own what would appear to be great names like delivery or pizza, etc... Cheers,

Yes.

ahahahahaha.. that is the greatest, im posting it in the NNNN.mobi thread goin on..

.mobi is the ostrich ranching of 2006.

Don't see many people in the city with ranchland.

But everyone I see has a cellphone.

You have to understand what happened with ostrich ranching in the 80's to get the analogy.
Ostrich eggs used to sell for $5,000.00.

I'm hoping not & don't expect it to be the case either.
However i'm guessing you haven't regged any, so i'm guessing you are actively praying for this?

Yes, but they were BIG eggs. You only needed one to make an omelette instead of three, so you saved some money there.

As all of you know, I hated .mobi domains. Then I listened to the TRAFFIC auctions, then I registered three 3-letter .mobis (which was smart in hindsight, since they sold out 2 days later).

Do I expect .mobi to be huge? Not really, I still see the same problems with the extension I did when I hated it, but after viewing the auction results it makes sense to make a small investment into the extension and hopefully it will pay off down the road.

It's possible it could fizzle out, that's the danger these days. Technology moves on so quick, & also people are never happy & just move onto next thing. We'll have to see. Prudent to sell a few early doors.
I will try & squeeze some in next auction though, hopefully.

The pioneer ostrich ranchers that got in and got out in 6 months or so made a killing. The long term ostrich ranchers lost big time.

I didn't reg any. My 2 letter .coms are easier to type-in and remember.
I don't care if it succeeds or fails since I'm not involved.

Yes, i must admit i wouldn't give a monkeys either if i owned 2 letter .coms!!
very nice! :bolt:
