One thing we forgot to ask the "appraisee" is how much this site is making a month.

Sometimes that is tough to get from an owner of a domain because of IRS implications. However knowing how much a developed site is making a month could possibly determine it's current value pretty quickly. If it's pulling down $10K a month our "lowball" estimates would seem pretty stupid.

Site traffic info would be good to know too.

A developed site actually is easier to appraise knowing the above then it is to appraise a "undeveloped" site.

That name gets several thousand type-ins per day, easily.

But, a few thousand per month is a decent domain, if it's consistent, and can be worth hundreds or low thousands of dollars....send those over too in a PM with a price (lower than PenPals.com, obviously), and I'll let you know if I'm interested.

to clarify, Alexa is not everything. it absolutely can not be used to compare a techie site to teen site. a lots of web site get 10K visitors per day bur ranked 2,000,000+. One of my site got 20 visitors daily, but ranked 128,000.

Alexa seems to ranked accurately for the top 1000 sites; other than that, NO!!!
