When will the .me auction begin?

Just for everyone's information, I sent an email to domain.me (got a fast response too) and asked why I have so many logins. They replied with this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We will be Creating a Master login for all your domains. Your current accounts will be active, but you will want to use the master account to manage all the domains. We will send you the login for this account tomorrow. You will be able to bid on the domains from the Master account. Please let me know if you do not receive this or have any further questions.

Yep, looks like this will last a while. I'm obviousely going to get outbid, wishful thinking on my part. I could use the money to put back into dot coms. Rather, I look forward to it.

In my case, the US dollar has increased against the yen since the time I pre-registered and paid, so I might make a profit

.me hasn't taken the money yet. registrars (ahemmm godaddy) take your money and make $ on the interest.

I've got my master account too. The email makes it really seem like they lacked planning:

"We've come up with a new solution for creating just one Shopper ID for ALL your .ME auctions – giving you the opportunity to work with your various auctions from one convenient starting point."

How could they not have realized in advance that people would apply for more than a single .me domain? Ah well, let's hope things progress smoothly from now on.

I should have given this more thought since live auction starts 7/17.

Just gave this list a lookover, plenty of names you would expect. However, funny to see sony, pepsi, bankofamerica and more listed. I would assume these to be names to stay away from.

I wonder who requested atlanta.me?
