yea... dont you know it. I got duped into thinking I had successfully hand registered 3d.pro and outdoormovie.pro ... lol.. imagine my surprise as i am proceeding thre checkout final phase with this name in cart and success message on enom site, then my humbling and embarrassing surprise when I received the success order email that said these two names failed... lame. I understand why 3d.pro is held by the register as a premium name... but skeptical why they are holding outdoormovie.pro as a premium domain.

Hmmm, isn't it possible he's just mistaken (as it appears now). I may have watched too many cowboy movies when I was young, but calling someone a liar always seems rather reckless, not to say unfair in many cases. :)

I apologize, seems my mouth is just as big.

I am sorry that 3d.pro didn't work out. I know full well the disappoinment of being given the impression of ownership of a domain in this fashion, only to be informed that it was then, "not available."

I have kept a close eye on 3d domains. I own 3d.ws and 3d.tel

Again, I apologize for the liar comment.

cheers

outdoormovie.pro is registered to an Ohio LLC.
Where did you see it's premium ?

... if you look at the prior page.. I show my receipt from enom.. I checkout and purchased outdoormovie.pro along with 3d.pro. After I paid for everything, shout my triumph to the forum... I get an email that said the capture failed.

I call enom and try to argue the point... "but it was in my cart" "I gave my credit card" whats up... where enom tech support told me that outdoormovie.pro and 3d.pro were premium .pro names that the register has reserved sorry for the inconvenience. ...... I didnt bother to verify and just took him for his word...

Regarding '3D.PRO', I have had those 'ghosts' come up before. Once it was a significant one word .COM! While it is actually too good to be true, once in awhile I've seen something that actually was available. You did the right thing to try since in the worst case, you'll get your money back. You can't be heartbroken when it falls through though.

I was searching through some Go Daddy TDNAM names and noticed that they have a '.PRO' premium auction happening starting January 10. '3D.PRO' is one of those names. The opening bid is $1,000. I suspect that a glitch may have made many (or all) of those premium names 'available' for a short time when you 'registered' yours.

One thing I have learned in two years of bashing my head on the walls domain Fort Knox is, almost to a person, the sharks marauding these forums and boards want to devalue, deflate, and basically destroy. In addition, any fresh ideas and disclosure of information are visciously devoured, and stripped to the bone in the effort of self-interest. Cut-throat, mean spirited, ... well ... perhaps you know this already. Another painful truth of this business, the domain business, say what you will all you long time domainers, .coms are essentially gutted. Sure there may be a smattering of scantly fleshed bones left for the picking, but painfully, as you no doubt know, the established, long time domainers, now registrars, and developers rule the domaining world. What is left is the look into the future, to sieze .coms for emerging technologies.

3D Printing is poised to revolutionalize manufacturing. We are witnessing the infancy of the most significant event in human manufacturing history. I have 200 + domains related to 3d printing and 3d scanning, some great ones. To realize the true financial worth of most domains, 5 years minimum, 10 yrs.. 15yrs. This is a principal of domaining, unfortunately.

Posting domains here on these forums is exposing oneself to ridicule and sometimes pure hatred from readers. Almost to a person, anyone reading your post here wants to give you next to nothing for your domain and for your trouble, bring you up to speed on how worthless your domains are. Perhaps you know this.

As I understand, after these two years of domaining, you are a kinda guru. But as you know (maybe) the END USER decides. Thanks for your input, but you must accept that we , human fellows, can see things from different perspectives. So is life. Giles where are you?:)

You are too kind. Let it fly. Why vail your vitriol. If your vision is such that you imagine "END USERS" as your say, frequenting this or any other domain forum site, well... good luck to you and Giles.
Do you seriously mean to tell me that End Users are reading here? I mean, seriously?
