Damn, I'm out.

I think I'll spend that money on something more valuable...like maybe a pair of double cheeseburgers at McDonalds. :)

Okay, now you've done it..I've experienced every emotion in this thread..and now..I'm hungry! :hungry:

Well it doesn't appear the kid fully lied. Every lie has some trust to it. He may or may not have overstated what he sold the domain for. But as I stated earlier anything is possible and the name itself to the right buyer can do very well with it. If I had a car chrome protecting agent I would want to call it ChromeGuard as well. If you start to see infommercials about this you know it's been sold.

Protecting your car chrome is worth big bucks. I am sure there are companies making millions on similar products every year. Why is it so unfathomable that he got $xxx, xxx for chromeguard.com just because he had it for $60 earlier.

Anyways..truth or lies this is a nice thread to read...drama is fun sometimes.

Good point. Very good point.

I highly doubt a company spending XXX,XXX on a domain name would put a fake number on their homepage, but i can be wrong.

Interesting thread. I want to know the outcome... don't close the thread for at least 45 days so his "buyer"'s whois and huge retail website comes up :)

Once ChromeGuard.com website is finally released, its new owner (if he ever existed) will be flood by calls from DNF members.

We also wait for a whois change, should not happen anytime soon, because the domain is locked, certainly not pending transfer.

If the guy had paid a deposit, he would already have the domain, at least i suppose, i can be wrong :violin:

Wait and see
