Yes, I read that. It doesn't confirm the person who answered the phone was actually Shawn...it may have just been a random person.

Well it doesn't appear the kid fully lied. Every lie has some trust to it. He may or may not have overstated what he sold the domain for. But as I stated earlier anything is possible and the name itself to the right buyer can do very well with it. If I had a car chrome protecting agent I would want to call it ChromeGuard as well. If you start to see infommercials about this you know it's been sold.

Protecting your car chrome is worth big bucks. I am sure there are companies making millions on similar products every year. Why is it so unfathomable that he got $xxx,xxx for chromeguard.com just because he had it for $60 earlier.

Anyways..truth or lies this is a nice thread to read...drama is fun sometimes.
