What is the exact difference between town and city ? City is just a big town ?

Do you see any value in this name. Is it a good idea developping it before selling ?

GeoTown sounds like a place... maybe some sort of online town or something. Or it could be used to create subdomains like... smithville.geotown.com

GeoTowns, being plural, is less flexible in my mind. Like the difference between SecondLife and SecondLives.
