What is the best deal you have ever gotten on any domain, like a total steal?

I did'nt do anything, it was a mix-up..lol, I am here and very well..just been busy working on my new site! It's made $19.84 in adsense PPC yesterday on a domain I spent very low $xxx on! wooohooooooooooo...more stories please! Let's keep this one alive guys! k:

Ok Ill add another one.
Paid $5500 here for a game name, site/forum and made low $xxxx per month for several months via adsense plus another $200-$500 per month in other affiliate programs etc. (paid for itself in 4 months).
2 years later and it is making $25/day right now plus the other income.

edit: oops, forgot. I almost sold it for $10k a month after I bought it but the deal never went through. VERY glad it didnt!

I regged a name for $8.95, and sold it a year later for $5K. (later, the buyer, a large entity, forgot to pay the renewals and let it drop....I grabbed it again, but txfr'd it to the buyer, this time for free)

Regged another name for $8.95 in 2001, sold it in 2004 for $18K.

Bought a name for $3500, and quite regularly receive offers in excess of $50K.

But my best: bought a name for $7K from GreatDomains (in 2002), and sold that same name last month for $180K. (pvt sale)

That's it for my domain name success stories.

holy sh*t you guys rock, thats what the funk I'm talking about here! Following that trend, I just bought a name for a HECK of a steal that I think will be making literally HUNDREDS of dollars a day within 6 months as soon as "it" comes out, which is a 100% sure thing! It's like "DodgeDurango.com" but something else VERY close, hehehe...More on that later, anyone else got more domain tales from the phat bank account? We will make this the biggest and coolest thread ever about steals and deals..it's like #4 or #5 now I think in the entire list of platinum lounge threads! Let's hear em!

semi recent sales:

Sold package of hand regged typos, of ringbacktones.com, it was like 15 domains, sold em for 600, around $33 each. One did ok traffic wise, got lucky since the guy who bought em just bought ringbacktone.com

Sold LinkPublisher.com for $600 to a DNF member, bought it for $75 a month or 2 ago. Funny thing is that i bought it at googlecommunity.com which isnt much of a domain site, oh and just hours before the sale rick from digipawn.com turned down my offer of $650 for linkpublisher.com.

Can't tell - would disclose buyer's identity, but all I can tell it was an ugle gaming name with 3 daily visitors at most.
